Ron Artest scored 15 points in his debut with the Rockets on Tuesday night against the Grizzlies.

The game was the first of the preseason for Houston.

Artest scored 12 of his 15 points in the first quarter of the team's 96-93 victory.

He received the loudest ovation of the night when he was introduced with the starting lineup.
