Derrick Rose made his preseason debut for the Chicago Bulls against Jason Kidd and the Mavericks, and the future hall of famer had some advice for the rookie out of Memphis when the game was over, the Dallas Morning News is reporting.
"The point guard position is hard, no matter what age you are," Kidd said. "You have to produce. Everybody's counting on you to run the offense and get the ball to the right guy. And everybody wants the ball. So you will make friends and you will make enemies. That's just part of the territory."
"He's got to learn that because as much as everybody's your buddy, everybody wants the ball. So he's got to figure out that he has to get thick skin because it's hard to keep everybody happy."
