Larry Hughes has always maintained that he is a full time starter, and now he'll get his shot as he replaces first overall selection Derrick Rose in the starting lineup in Chicago, the Chicago Tribune is reporting.

Rose attended to a death in his family on Monday, but Coach Vinny Del Negro said that this had nothing to do with the change in his lineup.

"We're all with Derrick and his family, but this has nothing to do with that," Del Negro said. "We're going to tinker with lineups a bit. We're trying to get healthy and find ways to get guys in shape. Don't read too much into that."

"I'm the type of guy who will do whatever it takes to win," Rose said. "If that means me coming off the bench, that's what I'll do."
