Mavericks' president Donnie Nelson said the team continues to receive calls about guard Jerry Stackhouse but that they would like to keep him for the playoff stretch.

"Our plan is to have him ready for a playoff push," Nelson said. "Our focus is to get him healthy for the playoffs."

Stackhouse played eight of the first nine games this season but has been inactive since Nov. 16 with a right foot injury.
