The Rockets have an open roster spot with Tracy McGrady and Ron Artest out, but don't plan to sign a player to a 10-day contract.

"We feel good about the players on the team and our depth," general manager Daryl Morey said. "We feel good about Von (Wafer) and Luther (Head) being able to step in at that position."
