While he waits for a possible trade or more minutes in Chicago, Larry Hughes has made it clear that he is still being professional and is still working hard while he is with the team, the Chicago Tribune is reporting.
Hughes was still working on his game more than an hour after practice ended earlier this week, shooting jumpshots, running to the baseline and then circling back to repeat the process.
"I'm still working," Hughes said before the Bulls' late game against the Kings. "I'm preparing mentally, physically, doing everything the same as if I was playing. I'm just not."
"I'll play if they let me," he said. "It's a long season. You never know. I hope I can contribute because they're paying me a lot of money."
