Mavericks guard Jason Terry is expected to miss three weeks after suffering a broken bone in his hand on Saturday night against the Bulls.
"Three weeks," Terry told ESPN 103.3 radio. His hand was encased in a splint-style wrap up to the elbow. "It hurt a little. But not too bad."
Reports indicate that Terry fractured the fourth metacarpal on his left hand sometime late in the second quarter.
"We didn't know what really happened and he came in (to the locker room) before everybody went on the court and said it was broke," Dirk Nowitzki said. "He almost had tears in his eyes, that's how much he cares..."
