New Jersey forward Sean Williams was arrested on Monday afternoon on suspicion of disorderly conduct and felony criminal mischief after an altercation at a cell phone store in a mall in suburban Lone Tree.

Nets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe released the following statement:

"The Nets have been made aware of a police incident this afternoon involving Nets center Sean Williams. We are currently looking into the details surrounding this incident, and since it is an ongoing police investigation, we will have no further comment."

Williams was not available for Monday's game versus the Denver Nuggets.
