Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum could return as early as Sunday to play the Los Angeles Clippers.

Bynum has been sidelined with a partial tear in his right MCL.  He injured his knee in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies on January 31st.

According to his website, AndrewBynum.com, Bynum has been "playing 2 on 2 and 3 on 3."  He hopes to get in a full practice on Saturday and scrimmage 5 on 5.

If the knee responds accordingly, Bynum would be inserted into the lineup for Sunday's game against the Clippers.  If not, he should be out no later than  the Memphis game on the 12th.

Bynum missed the end of last year's season due to an injury on his right kneecap.  Many speculated that his current injury would prevent him from playing in this year's postseason as well.
