The Raptors are very interested in re-signing forward Shawn Marion, but hope to sign-and-trade him if they can't retain him over the long-term.
"With his contract, it gives us flexibility," said Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo.
A sign-and-trade would allow Toronto to get another top player back in return for Marion, who they acquired from Miami at midseason.
"I've got to weigh every variation that I have. It's a big opportunity I have this summer," Marion said.
