After a controversial Game 3 loss, the Mavericks are one loss away from being eliminated at the hands of the Nuggets.

No team in NBA history has even rallied to win a series after trailing 3-0, but Dallas coach Rick Carlisle believes that his team will go down fighting.

"We've had every possible thing happen to us, and these guys have met adversity with unity, with a collective will, and every time people have wanted to write us off, they have answered the call," Carlisle said. "It's happened four or five times this year."

He mentioned the team's 2-7 start, a four-game losing streak in January and an embarrassing loss to the Thunder in the regular season.

"Hey, that's what this is about," Carlisle said. "When it gets tough, you've got to stick together and keep fighting. That's what our guys have been about all year. They've been extremely tough. And I don't expect them to back down."
