Former NBA player Corie Blount was sentenced to one year in prison on Wednesday in a plea arrangement resulting from drug charges, according to the Associated Press.

Blount, 40, pleaded guilty last month to two felony counts of marijuana possession after prosecutors dropped two trafficking charges.

Police found roughly 29 pounds of marijuana on Blount's person and at his home.

"Cheech and Chong would have had a hard time smoking that much," Judge Craig Hedric told Blount.
