Bobcats coach Larry Brown is concerned about the possibility of an ownership change and what it might mean for Michael Jordan.

Charlotte majority owner Bob Johnson is looking to sell his stake in the team, which has been losing money.

A new owner might force Jordan out as the head of the team's basketball operations, or demand he pay for a larger stake in the club.

"If Michael is not involved I'd be nervous about that," Brown said. "I came here because of Michael. He's special and he's great to be around. We need him engaged and involved.

"If he's gone, he's the guy who hired me. I don't know."
