There are strong indications that free-agent forward Sean May will sign a one-year deal with the Kings soon.

Things could still fall through, but the contract would be worth the veteran's minimum of $884,881.

"There is strong interest on both sides, but nothing has been formalized," said his agent, Bob Myers. "Hopefully we'll know soon."
