The Nuggets are hoping to re-sign guard Anthony Carter.

Denver vice president of basketball operations Mark Warkentien is "hopeful" that the point guard will fill one of the team's final three roster spots.

Nuggets coach George Karl has said this summer that he would love to have Carter back for the 2009-10 season.
