Heat president Pat Riley doesn't expect to discuss a contract extension with Dwyane Wade this season.
"We're just going to ride the wave, until probably July," he told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "There's no prodding; there's no demands."
Riley added that Miami's salary-cap position leaves him confident that the team will be successful in free agency next summer.
"We have more flexibility than any team that has a perceived max player," he said.
