Houston's offense will largely depend on Aaron Brooks with Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady unlikely to play much, if at all in the 2009-10 season.

?I think there's going to be more pressure on me to make plays, not just score,? said Brooks. ?We added some great pieces, so it'll be more on me to initiate the offense and get us some good looks.?

Brooks believes he can take his game to another level.

?Honestly, I see a pattern,? Brooks said. ?In high school, I averaged two or three points my first year (actually 7.6). In college, I averaged only about six points as a freshman (actually 7.0). So I've seen the pattern, and I realize if you just keep working, you should continue to get better.?
