The NBA plans to unveil guidelines for players, coaches and team officials when using Twitter and other social networking sites, sources tell ESPN's Marc Stein.

The primary restriction is expected to prevent players from tweeting during games.

One source described the policy as "very minimal" and "less stringent" than the guidelines announced earlier this month by the NFL.
