Raptors forward Chris Bosh bulked up this offseason, but hasn't lost any of his trademark speed or quickness.
Many were concerned that the muscle Bosh added this summer would rob him of some of his athleticism.
"I'm quicker," he told the Toronto Star with a laugh. "And I can jump higher."
Bosh made his preseason debut against the Timberwolves on Friday night, posting nine points and seven rebounds in just 10 minutes of action.
He added 15 pounds of muscle, but worked hard to maintain his agility.
"We tackled all those issues," Bosh said. "These were our goals: We want to gain `x' amount of pounds but we want to have an intensity to the workouts and we're going to work on different elements to make sure you don't slow down, that you actually speed up. It was hard work."
