The Timberwolves are struggling to begin the season, but new coach Kurt Rambis isn't going to stray from their simple approach.

In two games, Minnesota is just 4-for-21 on three-point attempts. Regardless, Rambis wants to keep things simple.

"If I was a coach, I probably would do the same thing," forward Ryan Gomes told the Pioneer Press. "Right now, we're not executing the way he would like us to. He wants us to get a handle on what he's given us so far."

Gomes suspected that the Cavaliers "knew what we were doing" in situations during the team's 104-87 loss Friday night.

Rambis put the blame on not "playing together."
