Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor hopes that the team will add a significant free agent in 2010.
Minnesota will be $10 million to $12 million under the salary cap after the season. Taylor believes that superstars will consider playing for the Wolves if they believe the club is on the right path.
"We've got ourselves in a situation next year where we're low enough so that we could go out and try to bring in a free agent, and in this particular case I'm talking about maybe a free agent that has some star quality and experience," Taylor told the Star Tribune.
