Trail Blazers star Brandon Roy believes that the team needs to set an "offensive pecking order."

The development of center Greg Oden has caused Portland coach Nate McMillan to change from an attack that was once dominated by pick-and-rolls to one that features post-entry passes to Oden.

McMillan met with Oden, Roy and forward LaMarcus Aldridge to discuss the team's offense on Monday.

"I think we have to establish a pecking order offensively," Roy said.

Portland's 12-7 record this season has been primarily thanks to their defense, while their offense has struggled.

Oden is averaging a career-high 11.6 points on 63% shooting.

McMillan said that the meeting is all part of the maturation process of the young team.

"It's going to take those guys some time," the coach said. "This is not going to happen overnight."
