Trail Blazers coach Nate McMillan is optimistic despite the team's recent rough skid.

Portland has lost six of their last eight games and also Greg Oden to a season-ending knee injury.

"We've had a lot of bad breaks here early this season and we just have to keep working and keep fighting and overcome this," McMillan said. "I think things will turn around eventually. But we can't give in to what has been going on or what is happening to us right now. We have to stick together and continue to work to turn this around.

"We're not giving up on this season and quitting on the season. We do have nine guys. Let's give it what we've got and try to get to the playoffs and (when) we get there, let's see what happens after that."

The coach hinted after Monday's practice that he could shuffle the lineup in an effort to jump-start the team.

The Oregonian writes that the most likely move would be to put Andre Miller in the starting rotation as Steve Blake has struggled recently.
