Donte Greene will start for the Kings for the "foreseeable future," according to coach Paul Westphal.

After being criticized for showing up to training camp out of shape, Greene managed to earn the starting job at small forward for the Oct. 27 season opener in Minnesota.

He was benched for the next game in New Jersey in favor of Omri Casspi and didn't play in five of the next eight games.

"A whole lot of frustration," is how Greene described that span. "I felt like my rookie year was coming back, and I wasn't happy for a while."

Greene is averaging 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game this season.
