Bobcats forward Stephen Jackson had the franchise's first-ever triple-double in Saturday night's victory over the Suns.

Jackson had 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Charlotte coach Larry Brown told Jackson during his exit interview after last season that he felt the forward was one of the players capable of flirting with a triple-double on a nightly basis.

"He told me I was one of the guys in the league that could either come close or flirt with a triple-double every night," Jackson said. "That says a lot from a Hall of Fame coach like Larry Brown to believe that you can do that."

It was the second career triple-double for Jackson, who had one with the Warriors two seasons ago.
