Stephen Curry isn't ruling out Golden State's game against Sacramento on Tuesday as a possible return date.

Curry hasn't played since spraining his right ankle on Dec. 8 -- his fourth such injury since training camp.

Waiting until the team's Christmas Day game against Portland would give Curry 16 days of rest between appearances.

"I probably won't play (Monday), but I'm not ruling out Tuesday (at Sacramento)," Curry said. "Knowing that we have three days between Tuesday and Saturday, where I can be 100 percent sure that it's ready to play, I probably would take that option. But don't rule out Tuesday."

The pain and swelling is gone in his ankle and the Warriors have missed his production.

Curry is averaging 20.1 points, 5.6 assists and 2.2 steals per game.
