The biggest adjustment for LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh this season has been learning to play off the ball as teammates in Miami.

Erik Spoelstra knew his superstars weren't going to adjust overnight, but a little more than two months into the season he thinks steps have been made.

"They are learning what it is like to play, be active and create opportunities when the ball is not in their hands," Spoelstra said.

"They are getting better at it. There is still another level they can go to. It interests these guys. They are so competitive that they want to master and conquer everything."

James agreed with Spoelstra and said that it has become harder to defend the Heat because of their improvement in that respect.

"It's been great," James said.

"Everyone has an equal opportunity to be effective on the offensive end. You can't just key in on one player. Throughout the game, you never know where it's coming from."
