Northwestern coach Bill Carmody has signed a contract extension for an undisclosed amount of years, a school spokesperson said Monday.

Carmody is in 11th season as the Wildcats coach and has compiled a 150-167 overall record and 52-118 mark in the Big Ten.

Northwestern made a school-record second consecutive NIT appearance last season. The Wildcats have yet to reach the NCAA tournament in their program's history.
