The Nuggets remain committed to bringing coach George Karl back despite the team's expected rebuilding plan, according to sources.

Karl is also committed to remaining in Denver.

His contract will expire at the end of the season, but the two sides have been working on an extension since December.

"Yeah," Karl said Tuesday night. "I'm hoping to be in Denver next year."
