Tyler Thornton could become a key member of Duke's rotation as they continue their undefeated run.

Thornton has been inserted into the rotation to take some of the pressure off Nolan Smith.

Mike Krzyzewski may be forced to use Thornton more after his strong play in the second half against Maryland.

"What he did obviously opens our eyes," Krzyzewski said. "That's what we are looking for. We're looking for things like that.

"We have a lot of improvement that can happen for us, so his maturity level really helped. He was a difference maker."
