Nets officials expect to have the opportunity to meet with Carmelo Anthony this week, according to multiple sources.

The group would be led by majority owner Mikhail Prokhorov and minority owner Jay-Z and the meeting is believed to be set for Tuesday or Wednesday.

Anthony, however, told reporters on Sunday night that he had no knowledge of such a meeting.

It should either advance talks between the Nets and Nuggets on a blockbuster trade or end them.

New Jersey is unlikely to finalize a trade for Anthony if he doesn't agree to a three-year, $65 million extension.

"I don't want to talk to nobody," Anthony told reporters on Sunday night.

"I let the front office handle that type of stuff. It ain't my job to be talking to New Jersey, New York, the Lakers, Dallas, no one. That's not my job to do."

Denver's most serious trade discussions involving Anthony since September have been with New Jersey.
