Carmelo Anthony had 23 points and seven rebounds, Chauncey Billups posted 15 points and six assists and Nene added 21 points and nine boards. Denver shot 50.6% from the field and held Washington to 2-for-13 shooting from three-point land. Andray Blatche led with 25 points and nine rebounds, John Wall tallied 10 points and 13 assists and Nick Young contributed 26 points and five boards in the loss.

Both teams shot 50% or better from the field, but Los Angeles turned the ball over 22 times. Blake Griffin led with 22 points and 11 rebounds, Baron Davis tallied 21 points and six assists and Ryan Gomes totaled 14 points on 6-for-8 shooting in defeat.
