The Pacers were victorious in their first game under interim coach Frank Vogel.
The Indiana Pacers (18-27) were victorious against the Toronto Raptors (13-26) in their first game under interim coach Frank Vogel. Roy Hibbert led with 24 points and 11 rebounds, Darren Collison posted 16 points and six assists and Tyler Hansbrough added 14 points and six boards. Indiana had a +18 rebounding differential, which allowed them to overcome 25 turnovers. Amir Johnson had 18 points and eight rebounds, Jose Calderon tallied 13 points and seven assists and Ed Davis contributed 13 points and seven boards in 25 minutes off the bench.
The New Jersey Nets (15-34) used a strong fourth quarter to pull away from the Denver Nuggets (28-20) on Monday night. Brook Lopez scored 27 points on 11-for-18 shooting, Kris Humphries tallied 15 points and nine rebounds and Devin Harris put up nine points and 18 assists. Both teams shot over 50% from the field, but New Jersey had a +11 rebounding differential. Carmelo Anthony starred with 37 points and nine rebounds, Chauncey Billups posted 19 points and five assists and J.R. Smith scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field.
The Miami Heat (34-14) jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers (8-40) at AmericanAirlines Arena. Dwyane Wade led with 34 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Zydrunas Ilgauskas posted 12 points and 14 boards and LeBron James totaled 24 points and eight dimes against his old team. Miami held Cleveland to 40.5% shooting and won the rebounding battle by 10. Antawn Jamison had 21 points and 10 rebounds, Ramon Sessions tallied 11 points and seven assists and J.J. Hickson recorded 14 points and nine boards in the loss.
The Orlando Magic (31-18) stormed back late, but still lost to the Memphis Grizzlies (25-24). Mike Conley led with 26 points and 11 assists, Marc Gasol tallied 19 points and eight rebounds and Zach Randolph helped with 10 points and nine boards. Memphis hit 53.3% of their shots and forced 17 turnovers. Dwight Howard starred with 25 points and 14 rebounds, Jason Richardson scored 18 points on 6-for-14 shooting and Ryan Anderson added 10 points and seven boards.
The Dallas Mavericks (32-15) used a strong second half to ensure the Washington Wizards (13-34) remained winless on the road. Dirk Nowitzki scored 24 points on 7-for-11 shooting, Tyson Chandler posted 18 points and 18 rebounds and Jason Kidd stuffed the stat sheet with 11 points, 11 assists and nine boards. Dallas held Washington to 39.5% shooting and won the rebounding battle by five. John Wall had 17 points and 10 assists, Andray Blatche tallied 16 points and 13 rebounds and Yi Jianlian contributed 14 points and 11 boards off the bench.
The Utah Jazz (29-20) won a game against the Charlotte Bobcats (20-27) that was tied after three quarters. Al Jefferson led with 21 points and 11 rebounds, Paul Millsap tallied 14 points and 12 boards and C.J. Miles scored 20 points on 8-for-17 shooting. Utah held Charlotte to 35.6% shooting and had a +13 rebounding differential. Stephen Jackson had 24 points and eight rebounds, D.J. Augustin posted 20 points, eight boards and seven assists and Gerald Wallace totaled seven points and six rebounds.

The Los Angeles Clippers (19-28) won their ninth straight home game by topping the Milwaukee Bucks (19-27) on Monday evening. Blake Griffin starred with 32 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, Randy Foye tallied 20 points and five dimes and Baron Davis helped with 18 points, seven assists and five boards. Los Angeles shot 52% and went 25-for-27 from the foul line. Corey Maggette had 25 points on 6-for-13 shooting, Andrew Bogut posted 14 points and 11 rebounds and Keyon Dooling recorded 11 points and eight assists.
