Jason Smith had a career-night with 20 points and five rebounds, Chris Paul posted 15 points and nine assists and Trevor Ariza scored 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting. New Orleans had a +7 rebounding differential and held Washington for 4-for-14 shooting from three-point land. Nick Young scored 30 points on 9-for-18 shooting, Andray Blatche tallied 21 points and nine rebounds and John Wall struggled with four points, seven assists and six boards.

Aldridge starred with 40 points and 11 rebounds, Andre Miller tallied 18 points and nine assists and Wesley Matthews added 21 points on 8-for-16 shooting. Portland hit 50.7% of their shots, while San Antonio grabbed 16 offensive rebounds. Manu Ginobili had a team-high 17 points and four steals, DeJuan Blair posted 14 points and 12 rebounds and Tim Duncan contributed 15 points and seven boards in the loss.

Los Angeles outrebounded Houston by 10 and attempted 13 more free throws. Kevin Martin scored 30 points on 8-for-15 shooting, Luis Scola posted 24 points and 15 rebounds and Aaron Brooks helped with 16 points and eight assists off the bench.
