LeBron James scored 51 points in Miami's win over Orlando on Thursday night, with nearly half of his total coming in the first quarter.

James scored a franchise-record 23 points in the opening period. He made his first 11 field goals of the game.

"Anybody that questions my competitiveness, they must be looking at the game the wrong way," James told TNT in a televised interview at halftime.

James scored 29 first half points.

He remains upset at comments made by the Magic in the wake of his decision to leave the Cavaliers and join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh with the Heat. Orlando general manager Otis Smith, specifically, questioned LeBron's competitiveness.
