Kobe Bryant led with 23 points and five rebounds, Pau Gasol posted 20 points and 10 boards and Andrew Bynum added 16 points and nine rebounds. Los Angeles held Boston to 40.2% shooting and had a +11 rebounding differential. Phoenix hit 52.4% of their shots and outrebounded Golden State by 15. Reggie Williams had 16 points and six assists, Ekpe Udoh posted 16 points and seven rebounds and Monta Ellis had just eight points on 4-for-13 shooting.

Both teams shot over 50% from the floor, but Denver was slightly better from three-point land. Jason Terry scored a team-high 25 points, Tyson Chandler tallied 20 points and 11 rebounds and Dirk Nowitzki totaled 16 points, eight boards and six assists in the loss.
