USC coach Kevin O’Neill was suspended one game because of an altercation with a booster that occurred shortly after he was photographed with a drink in hand.

Asked if he has a drinking problem, O'Neill said no. He added, "I work hard. I play hard."

USC lost to Arizona 67-62 in the Pacific-10 tournament semifinals without him, and was one of the last teams selected for the NCAA tournament.

O’Neill spent the 2003-04 season as head coach of the Toronto Raptors and went 33-49.
