This year’s Final Four will be staged at Houston’s Reliant Stadium.
Sam Soni, president of Prime Sport, the NCAA's official ticket and hospitality vendor, said demand for Reliant Stadium tickets and hospitality packages is up by about 20 percent over last year's Tournament in Indianapolis.
As of Monday, about 1,500 to 2,000 tickets were available via NCAA. OfficialTicketExchange.com, the official secondary resale site that Prime Sports operates in conjunction with the NCAA.
Prices Monday on that site ranged from a low of $333.33 for seats in Reliant's upper level end zones, behind the baskets, to a high of $7,083 for VIP midcourt seats; each seat in that category includes admission to the official pregame fan festival. Other individual tickets without pregame hospitality privileges offered range from $200 to $450 each. The company also offers ticket and hotel packages starting at $2,685 per person.
Face value for Final Four tickets range from $180 to $400 each. About 30 percent are distributed through a public lottery, and the rest are distributed to participating teams and a variety of other outlets, including corporate sponsors, networks and the NCAA.
