Corey Maggette is in his 14th NBA season and was non-committal on Wednesday when asked if he might play a 15th under a new contract.

"Who knows what will happen?  Who knows?  I might be a guy that might be in a front-office position," Maggette said.  "I'm already preparing myself for that as I finish this career.

"The biggest thing is to worry about what's going on now and let the future take care of itself.  We don't even know if we're going to wake up tomorrow."

Maggette played one season at Duke before entering the NBA, but expects to graduate from Arizona State next year with a degree in business administration and technology.

Maggette has spoken regularly with Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars and assistant general manager George David about their front-office journeys.

"These are guys I kind of look up to, and the steps they've taken to get to a position are always good to learn," Maggette said.
