Xavier Henry has taken the starting small forward spot of the Los Angeles Lakers from Nick Young.

The Lakers have been significantly better this season with Henry on the floor.

"You could definitely read into that," Mike D'Antoni said. "That wouldn’t be wrong."

Henry is averaging 13.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per game heading into Sunday's game.

"He’s played as well, if not better, than anybody so there is no reason not to go ahead and do this," D'Antoni said.

Henry was in training camp with the Lakers as a non-guaranteed invite.
