Lou Williams tore his right ACL last season and returned on Nov. 18. The Atlanta Hawks' guard is still regaining confidence in his right knee and ability to drive to the basket when he plants it.

"My first step. Having the confidence to go left," Williams said of the final hurdles in his return. "Because when you go left, you're planting on that right leg, the one that I tore. Those are the things that I had relied on in my game. And being able to split [double teams] quick. Always just getting past guys, and creating contact.

"Those were the small details that I was trying to work through early on, and I feel like that's coming back now."

Williams is averaging 8.4 points and 3.8 assists in five games this season.
