Chris Paul has fueled Stephen Curry's drive to improve more than any other rival.

"It sure was," Curry said. "Still does."

Paul was a prodigy in North Carolina while Curry was growing up a few years younger without interest from top Division I schools.

Paul exposed weaknesses in Curry's game over the years, such as his lack of physicality and taking away three-pointers limited his game.

"It was a personal vendetta there, to get better than him," Draymond Green explained. "That's how it should be. It's nothing against Chris, nothing against Steph. It was just, 'I want to be better than you.' I think everybody uses somebody to push them to that point."
