During their meetings with the Chicago Bulls' front office, both Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade expressed the sentiment that they would like to move on from "Three Alphas" experiment.

While both Butler and Wade have no issue with Rondo personally, they would like the Bulls to have a point guard who could spread the floor.

Chicago can pick up their option on Rondo worth $13.397 million for 17-18.

Butler has recruited Kyle Lowry about joining the Bulls.
