P.J. Tucker would like to sign a contract extension with the Houston Rockets.

Tucker is entering the final fully guaranteed season of his four-year, $32 million deal with the Houston Rockets he signed in 2016.

The 20-21 season with Houston is only partially guaranteed.

Tucker would like his future sorted out.

“It’s now,” he said of getting a new deal done. “It’s time for my extension right now, so we’ll see. We’ll see what happens. I’m optimistic, we’ll see.”
