Daryl Morey addressed a wide range of topics, from championship expectations to how Russell Westbrook will fit into the Houston Rockets offense, in an interview with Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle.

Morey said that he expects the Rockets to focus more on transitions with the addition of Westbrook.

"I think we’re going to get back to transition being more of a weapon for us. That was something Mike did very well his first year for us. Mostly because we were an elite halfcourt team, we got away from it. With a weapon like Russell in transition, you have to use it. I think you’ll see more offensive rebounding with our personnel," said Morey.

Morey, who added that the Rockets were still the favorites in the west, said that the team will wait until after this season to discuss a potential contract extension with Mike D'Antoni.

"I think everyone wants it to be longer. It takes two to tango to come to terms. We haven’t. At this point, he’ll coach this season and we’ll figure out how to keep Mike around after," said Morey.
