Dion Waiters had an "impressive showing" during his workout with the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday, according to sources.

Waiters will next meet with Frank Vogel, Rob Pelinka and Kurt Rambis.

Waiters was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies following the trade deadline.

The Lakers are also considering J.R. Smith.
