The Houston Rockets converted Armoni Brooks to a Two-Way contract. In a corresponding move, Houston waived Tyler Bey.

Brooks spent part of the 2020-21 season with the Rockets on a Two-Way deal. He played in 20 games (five starts) for Houston. In those appearances, he averaged 11.2 points on 38.2% shooting from behind the arc.

This offseason, Brooks signed a training camp deal with a hopes of sticking on the Rockets on a standard contract. With Houston signing four first round draft picks, there wasn't room for Brooks on the standard roster.

Bey spent his rookie season with the Dallas Mavericks on a Two-Way contract. It's likely he'll join the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League as an Affiliate Player.
