Ernie Johnson announced on TNT that the NBA All-Stars won't have to worry about who gets picked last in the All-Star draft. The NBA has switched up how selections will be made, in order to try and avoid a "last picked" situation.

All-Star captains Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James will make their first selections from the pool of reserve players. They will then finish the draft by selecting from the other eight starters.

The All-Star draft will take place on the court, just ahead of the game. This is another effort to juice competitiveness of the game, while also introducing a pickup game feel to the contest.
