The Dallas Mavericks remain interested in trading for Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela. Dallas tried to trade for Capela ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft. The Mavs backed off when the Hawks asked for Josh Green, in addition to the 10th pick in the draft.

One factor that could influence Capela's availability, is the Hawks rumored interest in Pascal Siakam. In theory, Dallas could get involved in a three-team trade with Atlanta and the Toronto Raptors, where Siakam lands with the Hawks, with Capela being sent to the Mavs.
