In a recent appearance on SacTown Sports, Sam Amick of The Athletic shared insight into the Sacramento Kings and Domantas Sabonis. Amick said that rival teams have shown interest in trading for Sabonis.

"As it relates to Sabonis, my understanding is there are at least a few teams that have raised their hand to say, ‘Yeah, he’s somebody we’d want to talk about.'," Amick said.

Sabonis is making $42.3 million this season. The veteran big man has two seasons and $94.1 million owed to him beyond this season. Sabonis has had issues defensively, but is one of the better rebounders in the league. He's also an effective playmaking hub on offense.

Amick added that the Kings extended Keegan Murray at a number they knew would retain his trade value. He also said that he hasn't heard the same about Zach LaVine's trade value.
